The WBDC is hiring for a Director, Digital Access. This role is based in Chicago, IL. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Managing Director, Program Innovations.

The Role:
The Director, Digital Access develops and delivers programming that provides business development services and resources to emerging and established entrepreneurs, including those that are economically disadvantaged and underserved. This role will ensure business owners in under-resourced communities have access to, and use of, digital literacy services and tools through programming, services, and policy recommendations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate WBDC?s digital programming and services.
- Deliver client advising, including assessing and supporting client needs.
- Manage and coordinate internal resources, community partnerships, and various subject-matter experts for execution of digital literacy programs and services throughout WBDC programming.
- Collaborate with WBDC staff to assess client needs throughout WBDC programs and services for digital literacy tools and practices at all business stages.
- Research, develop, and deliver innovative policies, programs, platforms, tools and best practices for digital programming and digital literacy skills training, internally at WBDC, and externally throughout WBDC?s nine state region.
- Collaborate with development team to fundraise for programming and services to further WBDC?s digital vision.
- Represent the WBDC at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.
- Work with marketing team to manage promotion of, and outreach for, workshops, events, and training sessions.
- Monitor expenditures, deliverables, program effectiveness, and any required reporting.
- Align with the WBDC?s overall strategic goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Financial and business acumen
- Experience and comfort using different types of technology, including hardware, software, voice/data systems, and instructional technology
- Strong project management skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 5 years of work experience
- Bachelor?s degree (advanced degree is preferred)
- Passionate about women?s issues and economic development

The salary range for this position within the WBDC is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skillset.
