Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer’s and / or dementia care
- Ability to transport to doctors, hair dresser or shopping
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and pre-employment drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving for work)
This position does not require a CNA and is for clients in the Iredell and Alexander County area
No previous experience necessary-complete training provided by Home Instead*
