We are looking for Companions and New York State certified Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to deliver care with a compassionate touch.

Your duties depending on the position may include : Assistance with bathing

• Grooming and dressing
• Toileting and incontinence assistance and care
• Mobility and assistance with transfers
• Companionship and conversation
• Companionship & Engagement
• Light housekeeping
• Meal planning and preparation
• Medication reminders
• Specialized Alzheimer's caregiving

Requirements to be a Companion with Home Instead

• No Certification is necessary to be a Companion
• Treat and care for seniors and their family members with compassion, dignity and respect
• Must be able to provide transportation for seniors

Requirements to be a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Home Instead

To meet our high standards, you must have and / or be willing and able to :

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate
• Treat and care for seniors and their family members with compassion, dignity and respect
• Medical Requirements include :
• PPD Result, Chest X-ray report, or a blood test confirming TB immunity status
• MMR Labs Results
