Job Summary:
As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional in-home care services to clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care tasks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and engaging clients in meaningful activities. You will be an essential part of our Culture of Care, ensuring that clients receive the support they need to age with comfort, dignity, and independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care and assistance to clients based on their individual needs
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties and laundry tasks
- Engage clients in companionship and recreational activities
- Monitor and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of vital signs, dementia care, ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), memory care, and patient care is beneficial
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and home care services
- Ability to provide social work support and emotional assistance to clients
- Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals for clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
