We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver with open availability and administrative skills to join our growing team!

We service Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, and we are seeking a dedicated Team Lead Caregiver to support our growing agency in providing quality care while maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Team Lead Caregiver Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have 5 years of professional caregiving experience
  • Must have 1 year of administrative experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be willing to transport clients
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Team Lead Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Delivering excellent care to existing and new clients.
  • Managing a team of Caregivers including training, scheduling, and helping recruit new employees.
  • Represent the company with clients to facilitate introductions and stay up to date to ensure expectations are being met.
  • Manage weekly client schedule with the Administrator of Care to execute all scheduled Care Plans, including personally filling in for any Caregiver shifts if there are any schedule gaps.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate confidently and interact with people in a way that puts them at ease over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
  • Able to provide the utmost professionalism and customer service over the phone and in person
  • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the agency.
  • Manage all incoming calls during scheduled on-call hours.
  • Return all voicemails, texts, and emails within 30 minutes.
  • Be knowledgeable of Home Matters Caregiving Policies and Procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of services provided by our agency to manage prospects.
  • Be well versed in the Employee Handbook and be able to refer to it when staff have questions about following proper procedures.
  • Refer any urgent client or staff issues to the responsible manager for follow-up.
  • Assist Administrator of Care with caregiver/client schedules on the weekends and other hours as needed
  • Update caregiver schedules and tasks in the system.
  • Schedule intros for new hires and new clients for all first shifts via WellSky.
  • Work with management on hiring needs.
  • Be available by phone on days assigned to work. Communication is key with us!
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Administrator of Care, Executive Director, etc.
  • Participate in new staff orientation, lead by example during new employee shadow shifts, and serve as a responsible leader among the team.
  • Have a smartphone and the ability to use Wi-Fi at home with a company-provided laptop.

Shifts:

  • Open availability is necessary. We need an applicant who is available on weekends, weekdays, and for all shifts.
  • Guaranteed 30 hours weekly with rotating weekends and the ability to pick up shifts.
