POSITION SUMMARY Radiology Partners is currently seeking a Practice Manager who is responsible for providing practice level support utilizing the resources, applications and tools provided to meet the required goals and reporting deadlines.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Radiologist Scheduling (matching radiologist capacity to current and projected volume; ensuring full coverage w/o gaps based on licensing/credentialing and subspecialty; identifying and resolving conflicts before they arise and solving scheduling problems if they arise)
• Coordinate Locum and Independent Contractor staffing and scheduling
• Coordinate Medical Professional interview process with Practice Director, Practice President and Physician Interview Team
• Optimization and coordination of radiologist licensing and credentialing
• Management of new physician onboarding (collaborate with HR, IT, Legal and Local Team)
• Maintenance of group and physician licensure, credentials, and hospital privileges
• Monitoring of quality management programs including OPPE/FPPE, TAT, Critical Findings, Tech QA, etc.
• Assisting to maximize radiologist billing compliance
• Monitoring key practice metrics, and implementing programs to improve where needed
• Supporting a productive, team-oriented environment for our radiologists
• Consistent local practice communication (communicate key issues and initiatives to our radiologists)
• Assist with special project management
• Cover IR coordinator when needed and provide support
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferred.
• 5 years prior relevant experience in management, healthcare administration or radiology. A radiology management, private practice background is preferred
• 3 years prior relevant experience in people management; leading and overseeing staff
• Strong experience using Excel to create and maintain models with multiple variables
• Candidates should have experience in working closely with physicians
• Requires a thorough understanding of customer relationship management, entrepreneurial based service delivery and an ability to adapt to a rapidly growing environment
• Demonstrated leadership in a management environment with core skills of detail orientation, follow through, process design, excellent communication and relationship management
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
