Home Team BBQ is Hiring an Assistant General Manager (AGM) Near Charleston, SC
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with holistic functions of restaurant performance, including but not limited to financial performance, guest relations, repairs and maintenance, and upkeep of service and hospitality standards
- Oversees and assists with the hiring practices set by the company, including scheduling trails shifts, proper onboarding steps, training post hire, and uniforms.
- Assists with employee performance conversations and proper documentation of infractions.
- Coordinate communication between FOH and BOH
- Maintain a regular presence in restaurant by working full schedule of shifts
- Keep detailed records and items to include in daily manager's log.
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
- High school diploma; additional certification in Hospitality or Restaurant Management is a plus.
- 5 years' experience as Restaurant Manager experience within a fast casual, a la cart restaurant.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software (Toast).
- Strong math and reporting skills.
- Customer service attitude.
- Strong communication skills and team management abilities is a must.
- Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, weekend, holidays).
- 100% -- Verbally communicates with customers, employees, venders.
- 90% -- Stands during entire shift.
- 75% -- Reaches, bends and stoops frequently.
- 20% -- Carries 35 lbs. Equipment or heavy trays about ten times per shift. over medium distances (20-30 feet).
- 10% -- Seated for administration work
