SUMMARY: Responsible for Assisting Housekeeping staff, maintain lobby and common areas, janitorial tasks, and assist the Front Desk with guest requests as needed.
Schedule/Availability:
5 day work week (Overtime available, based on hotel needs)
Urgently hiring for an AM and PM houseperson, shifts range from 7AM-12AM, Full and Part-Time openings.
Weekend and some Holiday availability is Required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Effectively and professionally communicates with co-workers and supervisor
· Primary tasks will include: Assisting housekeeping and Laundry Departments, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hotel lobby and common areas (inside and outside), and provide guests excellent service and needs as notified by the Front Desk Agents or Management.
· Follows company policies and procedures
· Ensures all tasks assigned are completed during shift in a timely manner.
· Adheres to all local, state, federal laws and safety regulations
· Completes training for role specific learning as needed.
· Informs management of hazardous situations, emergencies or threats to the safety and security of hotel guests, staff and assets
· Replenishes supplies and inventory efficiently to minimize waste
· Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3 months of Housekeeping, Janitorial, or other Hotel Houseman relatable experience.
Certification and/or License Requirement: Professional certification and licensure if required by law.
Requirements:
Willing and able to pass a drug/background check, and legally eligible to work and eVerify for employment, and reliable transportation.
