Job Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the finance department.
Duties
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Verify coding, approvals, and appropriate documentation for all invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper payment processes
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of payroll management and benefits administration
- Familiarity with journal entries and account reconciliation
- Technical accounting skills are a plus
- Experience with Ceridian, 10 key typing, Quicken is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
