Key Responsibilities for a Manager of Field Service and Technical Support:
Leadership Excellence: Lead and inspire a team of field service technicians and technical support staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet service goals.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the field service and technical support departments, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a senior point of contact for customer escalations, fostering positive relationships and resolving issues effectively.
Technical Training and Development: Champion the continuous training and development of team members, promoting a culture of learning and innovation.
We're Looking For:
  • Proven leadership experience in field service management or technical support, preferably within the Home Security or smart home sectors
  • Strong motivational and team-building skills, with a track record of achieving results through others
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic, analytical approach to challenges
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in managing customer expectations
  • Experience with service software systems, CRM tools, and modern technology solutions
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field is preferred
