Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Developer (Estimator) to join our team. This role involves conducting initial prospect meetings, quoting remodeling projects, and ensuring accurate and comprehensive estimates. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. They should possess strong analytical skills to interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans, as well as excellent mathematical skills for precise cost estimation and budgeting. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members, along with attention to detail and the ability to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits and field measurements to assess project scope and conditions, and discuss project requirements with clients.
  • Provide cost-effective solutions based on site assessments.
  • Organize and lead proposal and estimate review meetings with clients.
  • Assist the company owner with presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in construction project coordination or estimating.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to upholding high-quality standards and delivering exceptional results.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the estimation and planning phases.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
  • Excellent mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation and budgeting.
  • Strong negotiation skills to obtain the best pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
