Title: Maintenance Technician 1

Status: Full time, nonexempt (hourly)

Shift: Second Shift; 12:00pm-10:30pm (Four, 10-hr Days)

Schedule: Every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday

Reports to: Director of Facilities

Qualifications:

• General maintenance experience, 2 years preferred.
• Skilled maintenance experience, preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and HVAC systems.
• Valid Pa driver’s license, required

Responsibilities (the following is an overview of the responsibilities of the position and should not be considered to be all inclusive):

• Able to utilize power tools, mechanical tools, gauges and meters to perform assigned duties.
• Complete assigned work orders with limited supervision.
• Interact with web-based maintenance management system to maintain daily log of maintenance and security tasks performed.
• Participate in snow removal procedures.
• Complete daily preventative work orders as assigned.
• Work overtime, as needed to meet the demands of the department.
• Drive Homestead Village equipment such as pick-up trucks, tractors and other facility-owned vehicles as needed.
• Assist in setups and tear downs during scheduled events.
