Homestead Companies is hiring for a Part Time Cleaner at our 55 Independent Senior Living, Homestead Village property in Blacklick, OH with 130 units. Work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday 24 hours per week.
What is the role of a Custodian/ Groundskeeper? You'll be responsible for maintaining the spotless appearance of our 55 active senior living community to help provide the best resident experience possible. Your typical day will include cleaning the grounds in and around the apartment community, removing trash/debris, emptying trash receptacles in common area spaces, and maintaining inventory, supplies, and equipment. You will also be responsible to clean units, making sure they are ready for new residents. The goal is to act as a caretaker to our community and provide courteous and quick response to the needs of our residents as it related to your job duties.
QualificationsWhat you will need to be successful in this role
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for safe work practices, demonstrating compliance and enthusiasm for our safety programs and OSHA standards
- Ability to identify barriers to maintaining desired community appearance and alert management to needed action
- This job requires heavy physical duties, including lifting up to 75 pounds and frequently standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, & pulling
