We need a tough CDL Truck Driver to join our crew in Davidsonville, MD. You'll be the one making sure our product gets where it needs to go, safe and sound.

Requirements

What You Will Do:

• Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle to deliver garden center products to our warehouse and customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to residential and commercial locations.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, handling products with care to prevent damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any delivery-related inquiries or concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
• Assist with other duties as needed within the garden center.

What You Will Bring:

• Just finished driving school? You're in! We welcome new drivers with open arms.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Make sure you have your DOT Physical.
• Be ready for random drug screenings as part of the job.
• Driving credentials: You need a valid Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver License (CDL) that's easy to insure.
• English skills: You should be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Get ready for some heavy lifting—expect loads between 40-60 pounds on average, with occasional items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Flexibility is key—be prepared for overtime, weekend shifts, and holiday work.
• Previous driving experience, rock-solid reliability, and top-notch customer service skills are a must.
• Bonus points if you have mechanic skills!
