Homestead Village is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Lancaster, PA
Title: Maintenance Technician
Status: Full time, nonexempt (hourly)
Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday – Friday (weekend rotation)
Qualifications:
- General maintenance experience, 2 years preferred.
- Skilled maintenance experience, preferred.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems
- Experience troubleshooting equipment and HVAC systems.
- Valid Pa driver’s license, required.
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities (the following is an overview of the responsibilities of the position and should not be considered to be all inclusive):
- Able to utilize power tools, mechanical tools, gauges and meters to perform assigned duties.
- Complete assigned work orders with limited supervision.
- Interact with web-based maintenance management system to maintain daily log of maintenance and security tasks performed.
- Participate in snow removal procedures.
- Complete daily preventative work orders as assigned.
- Work overtime, as needed to meet the demands of the department.
- Drive Homestead Village equipment such as pick-up trucks, tractors and other facility-owned vehicles as needed.
- Assist in setups and tear downs during scheduled events.
