Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers who will work with individuals diagnosed with (IDD), Individual Developmental Disabilities, to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and services to IDD population in the community or in the clients home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Services Provided:
- Assist qualified individual on a one -on-one basis in their home. All duties performed will be non-medical and non-hands on.
- Staff will provide temporary relief for family caregiver, family members and/or host-home provider, by providing respite services for individuals in the community for up to 10 hours a day.
- Staff will provide non-hands-on instructional education for basic household tasks with the client in their primary residence, such as basic cleaning, cooking, etc.
- Staff will provide mentorship in the community. Including any necessary guidance, advice or feedback to support the client when pursuing goals highlighted and discussed in the individual’s service plan.
- Provide transportation for individuals to activities, and community outings.
- This service is intended to support the abilities and skills necessary to enable the qualified individual to access typical activities and functions of community life. This service will be provided by helping the client to utilize their community as a learning tool and environment.

Some examples are:

Library, shopping, sports, park, gym, arts and crafts, volunteering, etc. Anything the client has interest in.

Qualification:
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals, their families, and other team members
- MUST have drivers license, vehicle and auto insurance

- No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn

- $14.50 hourly to start

- Independent contractor; you will receive a 1099 at the end of the year
