Job Title: Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP) Program Manager

The OrganizationHomeward Bound is the leading nonprofit organization in Buncombe County focused on preventing and ending homelessness using the best practice Housing First model. We work collaboratively with community partners and have a proven track record of helping individuals and families achieve housing stability. Since 2006, Homeward Bound has moved more than 2,615 people off the streets, out of cars, camps, and shelters and into permanent housing.
Schedule and compensation: This is a full-time, grant-funded, limited-term full time position. The salary is $52,000 annually.
OverviewHomeward Bound of Western North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP) Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of the HOP Program. This role involves collaboration with internal staff across multiple departments, external partners, and direct client services. The HOP Program Manager will oversee the daily operations of the HOP program, ensuring compliance with program regulations. The individual in this role will be instrumental in shaping program outcomes, optimizing resource utilization, and enhancing service delivery to clients. The successful candidate will be expected to value and uphold Homeward Bound of Western North Carolina Inc.’s mission of preventing and ending homelessness in our community through permanent housing and support, contributing to our goal of providing impactful community services. This is a grant-funded, limited-term full time position. The office for this position is located at Compass Point Village.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the program, including billing, reconciliation, and quality control.
  • Maintain daily invoicing and perform weekly reconciliations of numerous invoices.
  • Stay informed about NC Medicaid rules and regulations, especially those applicable to the HOP Program.
  • Coordinate internally with multiple programs to deliver HOP-related services to clients.
  • Develop and manage the HOP Program budget.
  • Operate and oversee the NCCARE360 software in relation to the HOP Program.
  • Establish and maintain an internal system for tracking HOP service provision, ensuring all invoices and services are reconciled.
  • Process weekly billing for HOP services.
  • Prepare and complete financial documents and reports for Homeward Bound of Western North Carolina, Inc.
  • Generate all required reports related to the HOP Program.
  • Meet with HOP program participants monthly to coordinate program recertification and billing phone calls with a care coordinator.
  • Participate in all HOP-related meetings, both internal and external.
  • Cultivate and maintain community relationships pertinent to the HOP Program.

Annual Self-Care Fund: Take care of yourself! Each year, you'll receive a self-care fund of $200, which you can use for wellness activities, gym memberships, or anything that promotes your well-being.
