Job Description
Patten Title Company is a well-established title company with offices in Austin, Houston and Las Colinas. We are currently looking for an Escrow Officer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of title company experience. Duties will include the following but are not limited to:

• Prepare CD/HUD Statements and other closing documents.
• Collaborate with the title department to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, etc.
• Secure lender, seller and/or broker approval of loan closing documents.
• Ensure all payoffs, taxes, and HOA are updated and collected
• Address any inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies professionally and in a timely manner.
• Conduct closings with various customers: realtors, lenders, investors
• Confirm closing dates, location, documentation, and funds due at closing with borrowers.
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of title company experience
• Great knowledge base regarding investor business
• Full time physical attendance is an essential function in the job
