**Overview:**
Homewatch CareGivers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for providing in-home assessments and specialized medication management, including the setup of Medi-Set boxes for our clients. This role is vital in ensuring that our clients receive accurate and effective medication administration while maintaining their overall health and well-being.
**Responsibilities:**
Medication Management:
- Set up and organize Medi-Set boxes for clients to facilitate accurate and timely medication adherence.
- Educate clients and their families on medication administration, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Prepare and administer medications according to prescriptions, ensuring adherence to proper protocols and safety standards.
-Keep detailed records of medication administration and any changes or concerns regarding client health.
In-Home Assessments:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical exams, health history reviews, and evaluations of current health status.
Care Coordination:
- Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring clear communication between clients, families, and the healthcare team.
Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as Homewatch CareGivers' policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with professional development to enhance care practices and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in AZ.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting; experience with home care or medication management preferred.
- Skills: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in medication management and Medi-Set box setup, and knowledge of home care regulations and standards.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required., Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required., Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required.
Other Requirements: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Pay: $40.00 - $75.00 per hour
