**General Summary:**
Responsible for supporting Manager, Contracts in the creation and administration of the Company's contracts for aircraft sales as well as delivery planning and execution. This position is the primary point of contact for contract development and delivery coordination and will work directly with the aircraft sales team, dealer network and customers. The candidate will field questions regarding the status of sales contracts and aircraft delivery readiness for various internal departments and will provide various contracts, sales and delivery statistics and metrics as required.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
1. Prepares drafts of purchase agreements and related correspondence, and enters all customer and contracts data into SAP.
2. Administers the process of amendments, options selections, order cancellations, transfers,
and name changes, both in written contracts and in SAP.
3. Captures all special requests in the contract, along with applicable approvals, and ensures they are clearly communicated to other departments within Honda Aircraft.
4. Responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the completeness of customer and dealer contract files.
5. Administers the process of customer specifications, ensuring that all are selected,
documented, and entered into systems in a timely manner.
6. Reviews and reports on financial status of contracts and deliveries.
7. Researches contracts issues and advises sales and contracts management team on items which need to be escalated.
8. Administers and coordinates customer invoicing process.
9. Prepares correspondence to be sent by Honda Aircraft in connection with various stages and milestones in the sales and contracts process.
10. Attends and represents the contracts department in various internal meetings regarding
aircraft production and delivery.
11. Administers the process of requesting and distributing commission payments to HondaJet dealers
12. Responsible for maintaining Sales department compliance with document retention policy as it relates to sales contracts.
13. Processes cancellations, transfers, and name changes in SAP.
14. Coordinates and prepares all delivery and closing documents to support the delivery of customer aircraft.
15. Prepares post-delivery documents as needed.
16. Participates in delivery activities including; customer acceptance flights, paint and interior reviews and other tasks as required.
17. Works with Part 145 repair station to coordinate resolution of any issued noted during technical acceptance
18. Coordinates and manages the customer delivery experience including: demonstration of aircraft equipment both in flight and on ground, assist customers in setting up all aircraft operational subscriptions.
19. Inventory and review of all aircraft loose equipment and technical publications with customer
20. Coordinates with Part 145 repair station and internal DARs for aircraft exports when required
21. Manages customer delivery presentation: including coordination of company photographer, special event planning and special customer requests as required.
22. Administer customer delivery survey to gauge and measure customer satisfaction, lease post-delivery briefing to review results and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
23. After hours entertaining of customers and guests from time to time
**Qualifications**
**Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:**
- Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited university required. (Note: Lawyers with aviation experience will be considered, however this is not an attorney position.)
- Three years' experience in contracts administration
- Experience in direct contract negotiations with customers.
- Degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
- MBA or related advanced degree or relevant work experience preferred.
- Experience in contracts administration within the aviation industry
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
1. Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
2. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
4. Ability to handle multiple tasks and transactions simultaneously.
5. Previous experience with SAP and SalesForce preferred.
6. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
7. Strong customer service aptitude, with a willingness to provide world class experiences for customers and guests
8. Excellent soft skills, focal point to customers leading up to and during aircraft delivery experience.
**Physical Requirements:**
1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.
7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
