Full-Time Cashier/Telephone Operator

Job Summary:
As a Cashier/Telephone Operator at Honda of Fishers, you will be crucial in providing exceptional customer service in the automotive industry. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Fishers, Indiana. This individual contributor role will require you to handle cash transactions while operating a multi-line telephone system. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be essential to provide our customers with an efficient and pleasant experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following company procedures and policies
- Operate a multi-line telephone system, directing calls to the appropriate department or person
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry, as needed
- Keep telephones and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all financial transactions
- Strive to exceed customer expectations and provide excellent service at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficient in basic math calculations and handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of calls and transactions
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with data entry and paperwork
- Familiarity with using a multi-line telephone system and basic office equipment
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
