**Company:** Acura of Los Angeles Westside / Honda of North Hollywood
**Location:** Los Angeles, CA
**Position Overview:**
The Used Car Manager will oversee the pre-owned vehicle sales operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, pricing strategies, and customer satisfaction. This role includes managing sales staff, implementing effective sales processes, and maximizing profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the pre-owned vehicle inventory, including purchasing and pricing
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets
- Train, motivate, and lead the sales team
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle escalated issues
- Monitor market trends and adjust inventory and pricing strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns
- Maintain relationships with wholesalers, auction houses, and other suppliers
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales management, with a focus on pre-owned vehicles
- Proven track record of success in a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Proficiency in inventory management software and CRM tools
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
**Physical Demands:**
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity for handling inventory and performing data entry

Position Requirements

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • At least three (3) years of sales management experience
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation/closing skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Experience and familiarity with various Automotive systems
  • DealertrackDMS and Vauto experience preferred
  • Consistent and stable work history
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Have and maintain an excellent driving record.
  • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen
