Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Chicago, IL. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and executing social media marketing strategies, knowledge of influencer strategies, creating engaging content (creating a monthly calendar), implementing social media optimization (SMO) techniques, and ensuring effective communication with the target audience. The Social Media Manager will also be in charge of content strategy development and writing for various social media platforms and staying up-to-date with trends and algorithms in social media. Through Partnership Marketing Strategy, must oversee all partnership outreach, create influencer contracts, and execute campaigns. You will become an extension of Honey Good Brand to connect with existing followers and acquire new ones.
Qualifications
- Social Media Marketing and Communication skills
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
- Experience in Content Strategy and Writing skills
- Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
- Experience in managing social media accounts Facebook Page/groups, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn plus community management
- Skilled in creating video production for YouTube, reels, and stories
- Skilled in using metrics to evaluate posts and campaigns, and report on monthly performance through Google Analytics/ Semrush
- Knowledge of current social media algorithms, trends, and best practices
- Excellent QA content and community engagement
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience in working with women over 50 is a plus
- Software/social media tools; Google Analytics, Semrush, Canva, WordPress, Flodesk, Tailwind, Socialpilot, and Slack
- Fluency in Apple Products (iMac desktop, iPhone and iPad
