Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking an Manufacturing Engineer II-Joinery for our Golden Valley, MN location.

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Using your technical expertise, you will create programs, manufacturing instructions, and identify / design tooling for new or existing product lines.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE :

• Create, modify, and update fabrication processes for production
• Research and specify equipment to replace or upgrade production capabilities
• Work with a team to develop PFMEA’s, Control plans, and detailed work instructions
• Manage multiple projects at different product stages

YOU MUST HAVE

• U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• 3 years of experience with design, production, and experimentation in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated understanding of metal joining concepts involving process requirements to meet design requirements
• Experience designing prototype & production fixtures and tooling

WE VALUE

• 5 Years Experience with welding, vacuum brazing, and diffusion bonding processes and techniques
• Experience with computer assisted drafting / design programs (Solidworks preferred)
• Ability to review a design for manufacturability and provide feedback with proposed solutions
• Experience transitioning components and processes from research and development to manufacturing
• Experience with PFMEA’s & process qualification activities
• Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
• Experience training and mentoring technicians in proper fabrication techniques
