Shipping & Receiving Specialist Level 1
As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our supply chain and distribution network.
Join our dynamic team in the logistics department in a traditional warehouse setting. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting products, operating electric pallet jacks, preparing products for shipment according to specifications and / or customer requirements.
Monday thru Friday 1st shift 7am start
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by ensuring accurate and timely shipping and receiving processes.
Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with departments across functions : supply chain, delivery, warehouse, operations, and asset to fulfill ordersMaintain accurate receiving recordsAbility to lift objectsBoxing, packing, labeling, shipping instruments, and using shipping programs as neededTime-managementAbility to work with ERP systems -SAPKnowledge of warehouse safety protocolAbility to operate lifting and packaging machineryReading orders : Receiving and checking incoming orders or pick ticketsPicking items : Locating products using technology and picking them from shelves according to quantity and sizeUpdating inventory : Keeping inventory counts to dateStaging for delivery : Packing the order and staging it for deliveryReceive and identify incoming raw stock
YOU MUST HAVE
Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkMust be able to move up and down multi-level stairways safelyMust be able to stand and walk on concrete warehouse floors for long periods of timeMust be able to squat and kneel often, and lift up to 35 lbs.
