As a Program Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating various programs within the Building Automation (BA) business unit. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of programs and initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.
You will report directly to our Sr. Program Manager and you'll work out of our Redmond, WA location on a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct all phases of projects/programs from inception through completion.
• Provide accurate forecasts for revenue, GM and resource requirements
• Manage direct reports, cost, schedule, project billings, monitor estimate vs actual job performance
• Assist the sales team in understanding and assessing customers' business objectives and strategies.
• Support Sales team on surveys, application selection, and support in project documentation control.
• Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
• Possess the ability to communicate technical concepts/solutions to internal and external customers; e.g. conducting site walks, accurately reviewing customer specs, and with the ability to identify opportunities, risks, and resources required to achieve results.
• Review professional proposals, including technical scope, commercial estimates, deliverables, schedules and terms and conditions, using technical features/functions.
• Maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow
• Must have the ability to multi task and produce desired results in a deadline driven environment.
• Work with estimating/engineering team, field technicians, sub-contractors/vendors and Solution Design Center to implement the project. Function as primary customer contact for project/program activities, leading project/program reviews
• Effectively communicate compelling features and benefits of the solutions and services to sales team and customers. Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
