As a Senior Engineering Manager, Gas Processing Technologies at Honeywell, you will provide strategic leadership for the engineering subfunction within the Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit. You will report directly to John Wilkinson, Senior Fellow and GM of the Ortloff COE.
In this role, you will impact the development and execution of technology roadmaps, mentor and develop team members, foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee resource planning and allocation for the engineering subfunction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to the development and execution of technology roadmaps, ensuring they align with the company's long-term vision
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that values technical excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines, product management, and senior leadership to ensure seamless integration of engineering projects
• Represent the engineering subfunction in cross-functional discussions and strategic planning sessions
• Oversee resource planning, allocation, and recruitment for the engineering subfunction
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance the
efficiency of the engineering team
• Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior management
• Perform and review process simulation and design of NGL/LPG, CO2 Fractionation, LNG, NRU and Carbon Capture facilities using Unisim
• Perform and review process engineering calculations
• Design, sizing, specification and selection of plant equipment, including preparation of preliminary equipment datasheets
• Development of process flow diagrams and Piping & Instrument Diagrams
• Preparation and review of technical reports and technical proposals
• Participate in review meetings (3D model, HAZOP, SIL)
• Preparation and review of Operating Procedures Manuals
• Utilize in-house tools to support generation of standard engineering packages
• Preparation and updating of standard documentation and tools
• Support start-up and performance testing at client facilities
• Ability to travel internationally. Travel time is expected to be less than 20% per year.
