Join our team within the Integrated Flight Systems Center of Excellence (COE) that designs, develops and integrates highly complex Avionics Flight Systems within Honeywell Electronic Solutions.
As a Sr Systems Engineer, you will be integral in the development of next generation products, working on programs to ensure the security, safety, resilience and integrity of electronic aircraft systems, namely in Avionics and Cockpit product areas.
Key Responsibilities

• Leveraging your engineering expertise in system design, development, and integration, you will be integral in creating system solutions for airborne electronics, next-gen Avionics and Integrated Flight Systems.
• Analysis of current and future design concepts, apply engineering logic to reduce product risks, vulnerability and exploitation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate product security compliant designs, controls and requirements into the product development lifecycle.
• Model based Development System Design
• Understanding of system-level architecture
• Systems Design and Systems integration
• System level requirement development (ARP4754)
• Support the integration of DO-326/DO-356 into the avionics systems development.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, or related Systems Engineering technical discipline

WE VALUE

• Strong knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle
• Systems Engineering experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Automotive, or related transferrable industry
• Systems development of related aircraft electronic systems i.e. avionics, flight systems, FMS, flight deck/cockpit, etc.
• Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
• Knowledge of systems security requirements, product safety, risk identification, certification principles of value
• Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
• Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
