***This position will be in Kansas City, MO***

Summary of Duties:

• Perform as the encapsulation process engineering representative on THIRD shift in support of EPSW and cables
• Works with engineering to establish test techniques for new product during development and to resolve product or equipment problems, and may install, characterize and/or design equipment
• Solicits input from operators and initiates improvements on their own initiative to improve on-time delivery by modifying existing fixtures, devices, methods, process steps and procedures
• Provides technical direction and training to hourly/salary employees to include course ownership responsibility
• Perform as the expert on capital equipment used in encapsulation processes. e.g. curing ovens, automated underfill, conformal coating machines
• Identifies opportunities to improve HS&E within supported work centers
• Supports initial and updates to forecast for technician support requirements
