Honeywell UOP is now hiring an experienced Director, Key Equipment within UOP’s Equipment group. The Director, Key Equipment is responsible for overseeing all activities required to support the execution needs of our diverse Equipment product lines. This role will handle the project portfolio and have full accountability for cost, quality, and on-time delivery of Key Equipment projects, while leading an execution leadership team. This role will have direct and indirect reports located across the world.

Key Responsibilities:

This position has single-point accountability for all aspects of the execution of Key Equipment Projects including:

• Build an elite execution group capable of perfect equipment delivery on a global basis

• Detailed management of the UOP execution activities including risk management, leading overall staffing and procurement, and engineering resources, within approved limits, to the level required to deliver on targets.

• Lead a team assessing and driving equipment project execution, engineering design and field inspection staff to ensure control of the span of work required to delight the customer from order to cash.

• Ensure work processes and MOS are in place to consistently and effectively support global equipment engineering and drive an effective SIOP process in support of our global engineering demand across all product lines

• Maintain and deliver product quality as measured by on-time-to-request and quality PPM metrics while leading delivery of projects within budgeted cost and schedule.

• Partner with business and sales leadership to ensure total alignment of execution strategy and approval for offering during proposal phase

• Continuously develop, improve and maintain engineering tools and project templates.

• Lead efforts to improve our global work processes, costs and schedules.

• Assesses and implement strategy to improve organizational capabilities; propose and evaluate opportunities to grow the business via organic and inorganic paths

• Internal financial reporting and forecasting

• Development of the strategic objectives to grow execution capabilities to meet the objectives of the strategic plan including; worldwide staffing needs, and succession planning of managers and critical technical leader positions.

• Develop and retain internal talent through coaching, mentorship, and performance development plans

• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, looking for productivity gains through project closeout meetings implementing improvements via lessons learned.

· Work closely with project controls teams to make sure the Key Equipment portfolio is meeting cost, schedule, and scope metrics in accordance with business plans and strategies

·Lead and champion project cost savings initiatives to help improve efficiency across project execution teams

·Report to senior leadership on the financial performance of the global modular equipment project product line

·Assist business leadership with negotiating and closing profitable contracts with key customers and partners
