Hood Custom Home Design is Hiring a Project Manager Near Plymouth, MA

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager in the residential and commercial remodeling industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results. This role is critical in the success of our organization, and we require a dedicated professional who can lead by example and drive results through effective project planning, execution, and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring clear communication and quality performance.
  • Oversee time and material management for residential and commercial projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing schedules and coordinating resources.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide project updates, address any concerns or inquiries and process any necessary change orders.
  • Oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, expenses, and financial documentation to ensure profitability and transparency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Implement and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings and change orders while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate requirements, take measurements, and identify any potential challenges.
  • Proactively identify and address potential project risks, conflicts, or delays, employing creative problem-solving to mitigate any issues that arise.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including installation crews, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to endure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct both office-related work and site visits.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience ( 3 years) in project management within the residential and commercial remodeling industry is required.

· Deep understanding of the differences in managing new construction versus remodels.

· Proficient in BuilderTrend, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

· Versatility and a willingness to work within changing priorities

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills while managing information for multiple jobs

· Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of vendors, subcontractors and internal teams.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Hours:

Typical work hours are from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

  • PMP (Preferred)
