This position carries out Supported Employment services by helping consumers obtain and sustain employment that is consistent with their vocational goals and recovery. This position will provide supported employment services to a small caseload by engaging consumers and establishing trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward the goal of competitive employment in integrated job settings. This position will require travel to multiple HHC locations in the areas served.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related field. Previous experience as an employment specialist is desired. Demonstrates the skills and ability to communicate and work with persons receiving service, their families, community service providers, and team members in the assessment, problem solving, and delivery of vocational services and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form. A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, good driving record, and suitable vehicle for transportation of persons served; and the ability to assist persons into and out of a vehicle is required.
