Horizon Benefit Services is Hiring an Entry Level Office Assistant Near Gurnee, IL

Be part of a small, dynamic, team that makes a big difference! We are looking for an Administrative Office Assistant to help with the daily operations of the company and provide excellent service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and driven professional who can undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of discretion, have strong attention to detail, and look for ways to improve processes and drive results.

Scope of Work

  • Acts as office receptionist. Answers calls within three rings.
  • Handles incoming calls in a friendly and courteous manner; provides assistance and information as required and connects caller with desired party.
  • Handles all incoming and outgoing email correspondence.
  • Sorts and delivers all incoming agency mail.
  • Accesses insurance company websites to secure policy information and documents, then updates our client files.
  • Communicates effectively to prospective clients, current clients, teammates, etc.
  • Receives information and enters data across systems.
  • Calendar Management for Company President.
  • Administrative support/assistance to Company President.
