Job Description

We are looking for an Inside Sales Territory Representative to help us manage and grow one of our local sales territories.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of an Inside Retail Sales Representative.

• Meet and exceed budgeted sales and gross margin goals monthly and YTD
• Prepare sales plans for key accounts and targeted prospects
• Meet and exceed customer expectations
• Understand Horizon Distribution’s value proposition, service abilities and product offering
• Maintain constant and clear communication with Sales Manager on suggestions for process improvement and new opportunities
• Maintain a regular call schedule
• Plan effective sales calls
• Penetrate existing accounts by continually looking for new opportunities
• Developing multiple contacts in your accounts
• Strive to be a value-added sales person by always looking for ways to save the customer both time and money while also helping our customers grow their businesses
• Document cost savings and report to the customer
• Display consistent “can-do,” positive attitude. Strive to constantly improve

Qualifications

• Two or more years sales experience a plus, Industry related experience is desirable but not required
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, personable, well organized, and work well independently and with other team members
• Proficient working with technology including, but not limited to, computers and scanners, MS Office, email, CRM and researching online
• Must have ability to identify and develop prospects
• Some college education or equivalent
