Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Residential HVAC Project Designer who will work closely with the Installation Manager, Comfort Consultants, Warehouse Manager, and Service Team to provide a concise scope of work and detailed plan for each solid installation project.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Pay Range: $70,000/year incentive plan. Earning potential of $95,000 - $150,000/year

Required Qualifications:

  • Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in the office (with future availability to work from home option)
  • 10 years' experience in Residential HVAC
  • Residential HVAC installation experience
  • Excellent computer skills and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Team-player
  • Professional phone skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized and ability to take detailed notes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving through research, inquiry, and adaptive measures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HVAC licensure
  • Former owner or department Leader/Manager
  • Company Cam experience
  • Service Titan experience

Job Duties:

  • Utilize completed scoping documents, pictures, information, and measurements to provide a comprehensive list of equipment, materials, parts, tools, and other necessary items to successfully complete the project
  • Maintain a high quality of work for each project through concise and proper planning and instruction and communicate the plan to the installation teams
  • Be a part of the completed job review process to identify areas of improvement, callbacks/recalls, or other obstacles that could affect company performance and profitability
