Hoshizaki America, Inc. is Hiring an Engineering Intern Near Peachtree, GA
- Conduct time studies to refresh and maintain labor standards
- Evaluates worker productivity and recommends improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance; reduce waste and delays and promote cost control/reductions.
- Tracks and reports metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
- Participate in 5S methods, continuous process improvements, Kaizen programs, and quality initiatives.
- Document operational processes and create work instructions
- Participate in ongoing projects supported by Industrial/Process Engineers
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Including but not limited to an upcoming graduate of a technical degree or certification program from a Community College or 4-Year University.
- Possess a proven understanding of manufacturing & industrial engineering fundamentals
- Results-driven individual with a strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with an extended team
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills
- Able to legally live and work in the country for which applying, without visa support or sponsorship
- Familiarity with performing time studies and line balancing
- Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interaction with all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
