Responsible for planning, production, administration and oversight of all fundraising events for Hospice Brazos Valley.

Supervise all fund development staff within the organization.

Identify and pursue new sources of community funding.

Assist in developing workflows, calendar goals, deadlines, and appointments as they relate to fundraising activities.

Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, donors, media and others as needed to create a positive image and develop new opportunities for fund development.

Edits and proofreads written material related to fundraising.

Updates and maintains databases and spreadsheet files for fundraising and media contacts.

Maintains comprehensive historical files on fundraising activities.

Participate in public speaking engagements at events, meetings, health fairs, conferences and media interviews.

Assists the CFO with identifying grant opportunities and grant writing.

Location : Bryan, Texas

Requirements

• College degree, preferred
• Previous experience / training in fund development / journalism / public relations / marketing.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and other editing / marketing software as needed.
• Understanding of website development and maintenance.
• Must be flexible and available on weekends and evenings as needed.
