Hospice of Northwest Ohio is Hiring a RN Inpatient Nights Near Sylvania, OH
This position is responsible for providing primary nursing services to patients and their families in the Inpatient Center(s).
36 hours per week, 7p-7:30a, every 3rd weekend
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing; BSN preferred.
- Currently licensed as an RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience, with 1 year of experience in an acute setting preferred.
- Has working experience charting in an EMR system, Netsmart system preferred.
- Possesses clinical expertise related to critical thinking, assessment, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Possesses the ability to provide basic and skilled nursing care, set priorities of care, and appropriately assess limits of intervention.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding care issues.
- Has the ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Understands the hospice philosophy, principles of death/dying, concepts of pain/symptom management, and adult teaching/learning principle
