QUALIFICATIONS
Required : Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
Required : Minimum of 3 years professional experience and one year supervisory experience demonstrating competence in the clinical area.
Required : Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
Required : Bachelor degree in Nursing (or current matriculation into program)
Preferred : Master’s Degree in Nursing
Preferred : Valid / current BLS Healthcare Provider or equivalent.
He / she assures that educational needs of assigned staff are supported.
Position occasionally requires lifting patients and carrying items up to and over 75 pounds.
A high degree of selective attention, discernment, perception and concentration is necessary.
Job requires a high degree of writing proficiency including attention to detail, adherence to all elements of style and ability to express self clearly.
A working knowledge of and familiarity with medical terms and definitions is required.
