Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to join our healthcare team. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients within the hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to and from various hospital departments
- Assist patients in boarding and disembarking from transport vehicles
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation
- Communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff regarding patient transport needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment
Skills:
- Experience in patient care or hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients as needed
