Love what you do, now love where you do it!DescriptionThe #1 Voted Freestanding ER in Tyler, TX is seeking a PRN Patient Facilitator to join their team. The Patient Facilitator will transport patients throughout the medical facility for medical tests along with any required equipment. This position will consist of a rotating 12 hour shift; nights and some weekends required.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Support facility in providing transport of patients using stretchers and wheelchairs
- Deliver supplies and patients' results, notes, files, and charts
- Prepare equipment in between patients
- Clean and disinfect equipment and patient rooms
- Ensure patient areas, storage rooms, and equipment are clean and maintained
- Manage lab supplies, linens and stock room supplies
- Strong commitment to patient care and service
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in high-stress situations
- Ability to lift heavy items, bend and stoop, and stand and walk for long periods of time
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Positive, warm and friendly personality
- Self-motivated
- Perceptive of non-verbal cues by patients
- EMT-B preferred
