Hostetter & Hostetter CPAs is growing and is looking for a Senior Payroll & Accounting Support Specialist to focus on serving our clients with payroll and upholding our core values of Professional-Reliable-Practical. For over 40 years, we have helped clients in Lancaster County and beyond with financial services, including tax preparation and business advisory services. Our Ideal Senior Payroll & Accounting Support Specialist:

• Experience: 2 years of payroll and tax filings; 1 year of leadership experience. Experience working in a CPA firm is a plus.
• Detailed & Organized: Ability to manage your time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously; Must be careful & meticulous in payroll preparation, bookkeeping, and filings to avoid errors.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas clearly.
• Empathy & Influence: Ability to inspire and motivate your team while also caring & coaching them toward excellence.
• Self-motivated: Able to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Problem-solver & Decisive: Someone who proactively identifies issues and makes clear, timely decisions to resolve them.
• Computer Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office. Previous experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
