Our Employee Benefits Division is growing, and we are seeking a Senior Account Executive who will manage an assigned book of business comprised of key and high revenue-producing accounts. You will lead the overall service, recommendations, and implementation of a book of insurance business and will be responsible for business development opportunities with existing clients. What You Will Do
Manage and retain an assigned book of business, through strategic oversight, collaborating with Consultant-Producers and Benefits Support Team members.
Oversee client relationships and related service tasks, execute strategies, and ensure timely objectives.
Develops new business from existing accounts by identifying appropriate cross-selling opportunities.
Acquire an understanding of clients' insurance objectives, critically analyze and compare insurance plans, and stay updated on industry changes and external conditions.
Serve as a liaison between clients and various partners to address complex service issues including claims, billing, eligibility, final term negotiation, and compliance.
Educate clients and team members, lead implementation projects, and manage client meetings.
Prepare reports, contribute to team projects, and champion continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship and training to enhance team understanding and foster strong relationships.
What You Will Bring
Proven success and extensive experience in Group Benefits (Agency or Carrier)
TX Life & Health license
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with Self-Funded Health Plans
Knowledge of ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel locally for business as needed
A foundational understanding of Microsoft Office; comfortable with modern technology
