POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs line cook/ banquet prep duties for restaurants in Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Applicants should be self-motivated, have a steady and stable employment history and have experience as a grill cook in a mid or high class restaurant. The line cook is responsible for the day-to-day prepping and cleaning of their station and dinner service. Hours are typically 3pm-11pm, but flexibility will be required during the busy holiday season.

* Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork
* Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving issues
* Ability to deal well with managers and other associates in a professional and courteous manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Must be able to communicate effectively and verbally in English.
* Customer Service/ Hospitality Experience strongly preferred
* Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends and holidays.
*Dress Code Note:* No tattoos may be exposed during your shift, males must be clean shaven while working.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma Required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have the physical capability to lift, push or pull at least 30-50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
Must have the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists, and to reach and stretch, bend, kneel and squat.
There will be a pre-employment drug screen and a nationwide criminal background check. Previous employment will be verified and references will be thoroughly checked.
