AM and PM Host(ess)/Bussers - Part Time The Hotel Colorado is hiring for part time AM and PM Host(ess)/Bussers! We are looking for outgoing personalities who can multi task. No experience necessary! We will train you. Your pay rate at this position will be $15.00/hr. The first phase of a $10 million restoration of the Hotel Colorado was completed in August 2019 with improvements to and discoveries in six restored meeting and banquet rooms. Original brick fireplaces were uncovered in four of the rooms-Roosevelt, Garden, Taft and Devereux-during the restoration. Hotel Colorado recently completed the second phase of renovations with comprehensive floor-to-ceiling remodels in all standard guest rooms. Fireplaces and original brick walls were also discovered in some of these rooms. We are a full-service hotel offering breakfast, lunch and dinner service, bar service, on-site catering, audio visual services, and hosting groups ranging from 5 to 300 people. We were the 2022 Silver Medal winner for Locals Choice Best Place to work with 26 or more employees. What would you do as a Host(ess)/Busser? You would make sure the Host(ess) station is set for your shifts with such things as menus. You would help the servers set the dining room to be ready for guests. At both shifts you will be seating guests with menus, distributing the seating of the guests to make sure servers have equal tables, manage the wait list, communicate with the servers, kitchen staff, supervisors, and guests, help clear and reset tables and take reservations. You also will assist with room service calls. During slow times, you would polish glasses and silverware and roll silverware. What qualifications do you need for this job?
