Dishwasher

The Hotel Colorado is hiring for a Full or Part Time Dishwashers. The pay rate for this position is $18.00 / hr. The full-time position eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K after one year, accrued vacation time and accrued sick time.

In addition, we offer a free employee meal with each shift, A free bus pass is offered after 30 days of employment the type which is based on your home address.

The purpose of this position is to maintain kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, dishes and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to commercial dishwashing machine.
• Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Sorts bottles, and breaks disposable ones in bottle crushing machine.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Washes and peels vegetables.
• Follows safety procedures.
