Salary: $16- $22 Hourly D.O.E. Benefits

Location: Phoenix AZ

Shift: Night shift 12-hour days Lots of overtime (12% shift differential)

Position type: Contract to Hire Benefits

Summary: The Envelope Converter Operator must be able to set up and operate one of the W D 410 Converters

• Responsibilities: Meet with supervisor daily for schedule, job progress, tasks
• Read job tickets and properly document both counts of product and times that job was produced into the shop floor data system
• Machine setup and operation:

o Set and monitor machine calipers to ensure the quality of the finished product

o Inspect working parts and be able to recognize those that need replacement

o Setup, monitor, and maintain inkjet systems when applicable

• Constantly monitor the quality of the finished product

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum of 2 years working in a production facility, preferably on bindery equipment
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and meets deadlines
• Good interpersonal and customer contact skills
• Good written/verbal communication skills
• Effectively sets priorities
• Ability to track and report on opportunities for improvement and success
• Listening effectively when others are speaking
• Credible, responsive team-player
• Ability to perform and retain various skill-related tasks, training, and operations
• 18 years of age (minimum)
