DescriptionHouse-Hasson Hardware, a 118-year-old company based in Knoxville, Tennessee is looking for a growth-minded, strategic thinking, professional Regional Sales Director for our Northern Region. House Hasson is a wholesale supplier of hardware and building materials to home centers, building supplies and hardware stores.
We offer programs and technology that are the best in the industry to drive business. Our dealers have access to on-line ordering, electronic catalogs, internet sites, point of sale systems, advertising programs, retail pricing system and retail merchandising system.
This is a remote position requiring extensive travel within the region. The Regional Director role can be in IN, MI, OH, PA, NY, WV.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales plans focused on driving profitable growth
- Lead a team of Territory Managers; responsible for attaining sales growth targets
- Identify and prioritize target accounts while leading the team’s prospecting and new business development activities
- Visit key customers on a regular basis
- Ensure sales team is trained and equipped with the tools and materials necessary to deliver a world-class customer experience
- Attend customer and company events throughout the year as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated experience leading outside sales teams
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Competent using CRM
- Prospecting and customer acquisition
- Experience selling Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical or Building Material Lines is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- College degree or relevant sales management experience
- 6- 10 years sales management experience, outside sales preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
