As the Church Life Administrator for House of Prayer Lutheran Church, you are a big part of our team. The Church Life Administrator is responsible to enhance the educational opportunities and experiences for the House of Prayer congregation. This position will assist the Lead Pastor and Minster of Discipleship by focusing on overseeing ongoing ministries to help with effectiveness. This position will also assist with overseeing volunteers and focus on volunteer opportunities within House of Prayer and the community.

In this position, you are responsible to oversee the educational ministry experiences of House of Prayer members, supervise Children and Youth Ministry staff as well as oversee volunteer opportunities for the House of Prayer congregation. This position is 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the work, this position requires evening and weekend availability.

To thrive in this position, you should be Christian with a heart for ministry that is well-organized and a self-directed individual who is a team player. You must also have the ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively, and lead by example.

To be considered for this position, you must have four years of experience developing and coordinating programs or projects that included supervising professional level staff. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
