Job Title: Full-Time Caregiver/Companion

Duration: 7 months per year (Permanent Position)

About the Position:

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and dedicated full-time caregiver/companion for a vibrant and healthy 90-year-old gentleman living in the Miami area. This is a permanent position, but the role will primarily be for 7 months out of the year while he resides in Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Care & Support: Provide assistance with daily activities, ensuring the gentleman's comfort and well-being.
• Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, activities, and outings, especially related to his passion for art.
• Cooking: Prepare delicious and creative meals that adhere to a salt-restricted diet. The gentleman is a food enthusiast, so an interest in cooking and the ability to create varied and enjoyable meals is a significant plus.
• Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
• Health Monitoring: Keep track of any health changes and ensure medication is taken as prescribed.
• Family Interaction: Coordinate with the family during their visits and provide updates on the gentleman's well-being.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Cooking Skills: Ability to prepare diverse and creative meals within dietary restrictions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in stimulating and enjoyable interactions.
